Are You Hip-Hop's Next Big Star? Enter Doritos' Blaze The Beat Competition And Win $50,000!

Snack company Doritos have teamed up with machine-gun fire rapper Busta Rhymes to create a competition for up-and-coming rappers called "Blaze the Beat".

Here's what Busta has to say, “Everyone in the country saw the Doritos Blaze Super Bowl commercial a few months ago. Now I’m looking to pass the torch to the next generation of lyricists and give them a platform to showcase the fire they can spit.”

The people involved in the project have been highly successful in the music business with Busta's twelve Grammy nominations and All Def Music's producer Terrace Martin who has worked with both Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott.

The "Blaze The Beat" competition is the latest in a long line of Doritos backed music projects, "Our goal is for Blaze the Beat to open doors for Hip-Hop artists,” said VP of Marketing of Frito-Lay Rachel Ferdinando.
