KRS-One Is Tearing Down Ageism On New Album With Dr. Dre

KRS-One is staying busy, having released his outstanding album, The World Is MIND, last year and now he's back at it with none other than Dr. Dre.

It's not the first time The Teacha and the D.R.E. Have worked together, the first time was being back 1996 when KRS featured on Dre's Aftermath compilation. The track was called ''East Coast/West Coast Killas'' and featured Group Therapy, RBX, KRS-One, B-Real, Nas, Scarface & Dr. Dre on the symbolic track (ending the East Coast/West Coast war).

Dre also sampled KRS-One's voice on his hit song ''Keep Their Heads Ringin'' off the Friday soundtrack. And now the Blastmasta is set to collaborate with the doctor once again on his upcoming album, and has reportably been “checking out some dope beats” in-the-studio with Dre.

Although KRS is a compentant producer himself, he has made a career of rhyming over a list of legendary producers such as Showbiz, DJ Premier, Marley Marl and now Dr. Dre. During these times of breaking down barriers related to ageism in hip hop, this collabo could have a powerful impact on the careeers of these two living legends.
