This Is How A White Rapper From The Suburbs Got Every Single Wu-Tang Member On His Track
How did a 28-year-old white rapper from a small town in Maryland unite the entire Wu-Tang Clan for a song on his own album? He asked the RZA of course! Actually, no joke, Logic called up RZA while drunk after his boys challenged him to do it. After dialing his number, Logic was waiting for RZA to pick up the phone and he said to his boys, “it’s probably just going to go to voicemail”, when he heard, “Yo, Boom-Bam! What’s good?” on the line. Flabbergasted, Logic proceeded to ask, “I’ve always had this dream of making a song called “Wu-Tang Forever” featuring every single Wu-Tang Clan member. What do I need to do, to make that happen?”. To which the RZA replied, “all you gotta do is ask, baby!”. Prompting Logic to say, “well, I’m asking”, to which RZA replied, “well, it’s done!”.
An amazing story there from Logic in what must be a dream come true for him. Also, we should thank Logic and the RZA for making this happen for us, the fans. It will be truly exciting to hear the finished product with ten official Wu-Tang members on one track. That in itself is a rarity.
